Eagle Computer is an online selling company specialized in second source, used and refurbished computer equipment. They are online since March 2001.

Shipping
Over 90% of air shipments ship the same day if ordered before 4:00pm CST. Ground shipments to be shipped the same day should be ordered before 2:00pm CST.
Costs
Eagle Computer uses FedEx as a main carrier. For ground shipping you pay around $4.95 for packages under one pound and under $100 but the cost may vary in up to $2 range depending on address. Add 50 cents for every $100 and $1 for every pound. For COD shipping add additional $10. You will always see actual shipping charge during checkout of your order, when you order online.
Payment
If you live in USA, you can pay by all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and COD cashiers checks. COD (cash on delivery) orders must be over $500 and shipping costs increase by $10.
International Orders
Customers from outside USA (including Canada) can pay by credit card for orders up to $200. All other orders must be pre paid by bank wire transfer.

Offers
There are about 150 laptop offers, with about half of them being refurbished laptops. You can find a lot of more and less popular brands like Dell, IBM, Compaq, Toshiba, Sony, Apple, HP, Acer, Viewsonic and Averatec. Most offer descriptions are quite good, but unfortunately there are also many with very poor one.

Site navigation is very simple. Design also isn't very effective but using the site is fast and intuitive. You can browse offers only by price with ad hoc chosen price ranges. You can also use Search option available on the top of the page.
Laptops
About half of offers are refurbished notebooks. You can find both factory refurbished and 3rd party refurbished items. All are thoroughly tested and cleaned.

Buying from Eagle Computer you will have big choice of accessories and upgrade component like memories and hard drives.
Warranty
In most cases you get 60 days warranty on refurbished laptop. Sometimes it can be less and sometimes more with newer computers. You can also meet items with actual manufacturers warranty.
Battery
Most refurbished laptops come with 30 days battery warranty. It can change from offer to offer so read offer description carefully.
Returns
You can return any unopened product within 30 days from a purchase date. If you opened the box, customer service can consider accepting your return. Any way, you can be charged up to 15% restocking fee.
